Responsibilities
- Support, maintain, and improve test systems throughout the factory.
- Drive quality through internal and external root cause countermeasures of failures.
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing practices to drive internal and external metrics (quality, cost, innovation).
- Identify and drive cost-saving opportunities through redesign and supplier relationships.
- Advise design engineering of existing production capabilities, equipment, and standard practices for new designs.
- Specify all hardware requirements for test systems.
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical I/O and communication boards for various stations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or higher from an ABET accredited institution with a minimum of 5 years of related engineering experience.
- Good understanding of analog and digital circuitry; RF knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and prioritize workload.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as .NET, LabView, Python, VB, etc.
- Strong problem-solving methodology and data analysis skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Leadership experience within a team, project, or job is desired.
