Responsibilities
- Improve productivity through ergonomic evaluations, time studies, simulation, and line balancing.
- Study and enhance plant safety.
- Support and lead Kaizen events to improve Safety, Delivery, Quality, or Cost.
- Document processes such as work standards, Job Safety Analyses, and LOTO procedures.
- Conduct capacity utilization analysis.
- Optimize assembly flow and processes to minimize People per machine per day.
- Report and present project justification and findings to site leadership.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BS in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Some exposure to a machine shop setting or environment.
