Responsibilities
- Researches and evaluates business situations, production capabilities, and manufacturing problems.
- Suggests alternative methods and procedures for problem-solving and meeting market opportunities.
- Contributes to formulating company policies, operating procedures, and goals.
- Develops and modifies product assurance programs, outlining control areas and operational procedures.
- Evaluates reports from product assurance program department heads for budget formulation.
- Conducts management meetings to establish policies and coordinate functions between departments.
- Interfaces with customers on technical/quality issues and manages customer audits.
Job Requirements
- Typically requires 6 years of experience in quality systems or a related area.
- Previous leadership and manufacturing experience.
- Experience in a medical device regulated environment.
- Knowledge of ISO13485 and FDA regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Up-to-date with technical developments in the industry.
