Responsibilities
- Apply engineering principles to design manufacturable products.
- Review customer specifications and create drawings and bills of materials.
- Collaborate with customers to clarify project requirements.
- Use CAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings.
- Develop products such as switchgear and sheet metal enclosures.
- Coordinate with purchasing and vendors for quotes and lead times.
- Provide engineering support during manufacturing stages.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in SolidWorks for 2D and 3D drawings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with parametric design procedures.
- General understanding of mechanical and structural FEA.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
- 4-7 years of related work experience.
