Responsibilities
- Apply engineering principles to design manufacturable products.
- Review customer specifications to create drawings and bill of materials.
- Collaborate with customers to understand project requirements.
- Use CAD software to create detailed mechanical drawings.
- Develop products related to switchgear and sheet metal enclosures.
- Provide engineering support during manufacturing stages.
- Address design and manufacturing issues, providing solutions.
Job Requirements
- Proficient in SolidWorks for 2D and 3D drawings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with parametric design procedures (knowledge of VBA).
- General understanding of mechanical and structural FEA.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Master's preferred.
- 4-7 years of related work experience.
- Experience in the power distribution industry is a plus.
