Responsibilities
- Develop new innovative design concepts for launch vehicle and spacecraft programs.
- Use engineering principles to provide novel solutions for technically challenging problems.
- Design fluid systems for sampling exhaust gases.
- Create fluid systems models for pressure analysis.
- Design and fabricate engine tooling.
- Manage the design of heatsink chambers for thrusters.
- Oversee the design iteration of critical engine components.
Job Requirements
- Strong engineering fundamentals in thermal, structural, and fluids analysis.
- Current undergraduate or graduate student in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- Ability to deliver on tight schedules with creative solutions.
- Hands-on fabrication experience with power tools.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible for required authorizations.
- Willingness to work occasional night shifts.
