Responsibilities
- Develop new innovative design concepts for launch vehicle and spacecraft programs.
- Use engineering principles to provide solutions for technically challenging problems.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and communicate effectively.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on common goals.
- Participate in the design process including preliminary concept and detail design.
- Create layouts and drawings as part of the design process.
- Engage in a hands-on, evolving work environment.
Job Requirements
- Enrollment in a BS or MS program at an accredited university or recent graduation.
- Strong comprehension of design fundamentals.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Interest or experience in aerospace structural engineering or composites.
- Familiarity with 3D CAD, structural design, and stress analysis is preferred.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident due to export regulations.
