Responsibilities
- Define vehicle-level architecture and capabilities in alignment with company objectives.
- Conduct and lead system-level trades to drive innovation in vehicle design.
- Analyze and optimize mass, delta V, power, and data budgets for technical feasibility.
- Chair vehicle-level design and milestone reviews to meet program standards.
- Develop innovative solutions for vehicle design and operations.
- Manage technical risk posture and conduct root cause investigations.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operations and mission readiness.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in launch vehicle and/or spacecraft systems.
- Strong understanding of orbital mechanics and engineering fundamentals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.
- Master's or PhD degree is desired, along with 8+ years of experience.
- Experience with real-time troubleshooting in high-stakes environments.
