Responsibilities
- Define vehicle-level architecture, capabilities, and specifications.
- Conduct and evaluate system-level trades for vehicle design and functionality.
- Analyze and optimize mass, delta V, power, and data budgets.
- Chair vehicle-level design and milestone reviews.
- Develop innovative solutions for vehicle design and operations.
- Manage program risks and track potential technical issues.
- Provide real-time support for integrated operations during missions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
- 10+ years in spacecraft/subsystem development and operations.
- 5+ years in a leadership role within aerospace.
- Subject matter expert in spacecraft systems or operations engineering.
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and orbital mechanics.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
