Responsibilities
- Serve as technical authority for mechanical hardware decisions.
- Lead cross-disciplinary technical trades impacting vehicle performance and reliability.
- Own mechanical and structural requirements and compliance evidence.
- Approve analysis methodologies and oversee test operations.
- Partner with Manufacturing and Program teams to resolve production issues.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering quality and standards.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to engineering teams.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical, or related engineering field.
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical/structural design for aerospace systems.
- Proven experience in technical decision-making and design reviews.
- Deep understanding of FEM/FEA and structural mechanics.
- Working knowledge of composite manufacturing methods.
- Strong documentation rigor and configuration control discipline.
- Experience with 3D CAD software and industry FEA tools.
