Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for mechanical components.
- Identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers for rapid production.
- Lead RFQs, cost modeling, and supplier negotiations.
- Own should-cost models and drive cost reductions.
- Support NPI from design through production ramp.
- Manage supplier performance and risk mitigation.
- Communicate sourcing strategies and risks to teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 7+ years of global sourcing or supply chain experience.
- Strong understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes.
- Experience supporting NPI in hardware-focused companies.
- Proven negotiation skills with global suppliers.
- Preferred experience in robotics or high-volume electromechanical products.
- Comfortable working with technical documentation and cost analysis.
