Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for mechanical components.
- Identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers for rapid iteration and production.
- Lead RFQs, cost modeling, and supplier negotiations.
- Own should-cost models and drive costs down through collaboration.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) from design through production ramp.
- Manage supplier performance across quality, delivery, and cost.
- Communicate sourcing strategies and risks to technical and executive teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 7+ years of global sourcing or supply chain experience for mechanical hardware.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining, casting, and injection molding processes.
- Experience in supporting NPI and scaling production in hardware-focused companies.
- Proven negotiation skills with global suppliers.
- Experience in robotics, EV, automotive, or high-volume electromechanical products preferred.
- Comfortable working with drawings, BOMs, and cost breakdowns.
