Responsibilities
- Update 3D CAD models and create detailed fabrication drawings using Solid Works.
- Transform concept drawings into finished product designs and contribute design modifications.
- Verify tolerance conditions of multi-component assemblies.
- Review drawings against source documentation for accuracy.
- Create test apparatus to verify form, fit, and function.
- Create fabrication and assembly instructions for shop personnel.
- Complete documentation packages for projects and produce drawing sets.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required, or 5 years equivalent experience.
- 0-1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with 3D CAD software, Solidworks preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to read and record accurate measurements with engineering measuring tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
