Responsibilities
- Support hands-on tasks such as rapid prototyping, fixture development, and mechanical testing
- Expedient delivery of 3D and 2D designs in a PLM environment
- Prototype assembly and rework
- Develop fixtures for testing and assembly
- Conduct mechanical testing of prototypes
- Ensure strong technical communication in various forms
- Collaborate with team members on design projects
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
- Proficient with NX CAD (Siemens-NX) and complex ID surfaces
- Experience in consumer electronics or similar industries
- Familiarity with mechanical test and inspection equipment
- Experience with prototyping equipment such as 3D printers and laser cutters
- Strong technical communication skills, both verbal and written
