Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of equipment used in manufacturing air control products and recommend automation initiatives.
- Design and develop custom tools, fixtures, and equipment for product manufacturing.
- Identify opportunities for lean implementation and process optimization.
- Serve as a professional representative when interacting with vendors and contractors.
- Apply company policies and lean principles for continuous quality improvement.
- Develop and maintain process documentation while collaborating with production and quality teams.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to ensure efficient operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of automation and process design.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM.
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication and machining processes.
- Demonstrated analytical ability for process improvements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
