Responsibilities
- Design and evaluate airflow systems and devices.
- Perform engineering calculations based on SMACNA industrial standards.
- Detail fume exhaust systems in a Revit BIM CAD environment.
- Establish test protocols and perform independent studies for product development.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies for process improvements.
- Lead engineering teams and ensure effective project execution and resource allocation.
- Interface with customers and vendors to provide technical support and solutions.
Job Requirements
- BS degree in a relevant field.
- 15+ years of work experience in mechanical engineering and control systems design.
- Proficiency in drafting, documentation, and standards interpretation.
- Experience with Solidworks, Solidworks PDM, and Autodesk Revit.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to sheet metal and machining.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to integrate AI tools into engineering workflows.
