Responsibilities
- Comply with safety/health and environmental policy.
- Obtain working knowledge of different lab units and pilot plants.
- Analyze stress and strain on pressurized vessels, piping, and tubing.
- Provide technical expertise in engineering analysis and increasing reliability of units.
- Design fixed equipment and custom mechanical parts for projects and operations.
- Design specialized tools and automation systems for efficiencies.
- Maintain and update the Mechanical Engineering intranet site and develop support documents.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the chemical industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and GD&T.
- Knowledge of ASME standards.
- Problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
