Responsibilities
- Assemble, align, and test opto-mechanical components, fiber-optic sensors, and laser systems and test boxes.
- Document process steps and test findings.
- Collect, process, and interpret data from experiments to optimize performance.
- Contribute to research reports.
- Gain exposure to laser assembly and testing in a photonics-focused company.
- Build and troubleshoot test equipment.
- Receive mentorship from experienced engineering staff.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Optical, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
- Mechanical/electrical skills.
- Ability to solder wires and connectors.
- Ability to read and interpret schematic designs.
