Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot low voltage systems utilizing wiring schematics, computer software, and diagnostic equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical to electronic interfaces.
- Run conduit, pull wire, and make electrical connections using wiring diagrams and/or electrical schematics.
- Detect and report defective materials, faulty operation, and unusual conditions to the supervisor.
- Work with Engineering and Vendors on new wiring requirements for prototype units and systems.
- Perform ECM programming and work with Programmable Motion Control cards (PCM cards).
- Document and diagram wiring when needed for prototype units.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Two years minimum experience in a low-voltage electrician role preferred.
- Training in reading electrical schematics is necessary.
- Extensive knowledge of troubleshooting principles and application.
- Required to read, write, and comprehend English.
- Moderate physical demand, including lifting up to 30 lbs and climbing.
- Ability to work independently on wiring and programming engines and power pack systems.
