Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot low voltage systems utilizing wiring schematics, computer software, and diagnostic equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical to electronic interfaces.
- Run conduit, pull wire, and make electrical connections using wiring diagrams and/or electrical schematics.
- Detect and report defective materials, faulty operation, and unusual conditions.
- Work with Engineering and Vendors on new wiring requirements for Prototype units and systems.
- Work independently on wiring and programming engines and power pack systems.
- Document and diagram wiring when needed, especially for Prototype units.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Preferred two years minimum in a low-voltage electrician role.
- Must have training in reading electrical schematics.
- Extensive knowledge of troubleshooting principles and application.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.
- Moderate physical demand in handling and connecting some wires; may need to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to work with Programmable Motion Control cards (PCM cards).
