Responsibilities
- Analyze domain firmware to identify custom instructions.
- Evaluate instruction implementations from performance, power, and area perspectives.
- Derive instruction accuracy requirements based on application domain requirements.
- Collaborate with processor architects, designers, application domain experts, and firmware engineers.
- Present final work to the team at the end of the internship.
- Engage in hands-on customization of a domain-specific processor.
- Utilize programming languages such as Verilog, C, and Python.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Foundational understanding of core engineering principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn new skills proactively.
- Understanding of processor architecture and design.
