Responsibilities
- Architect and design complex electromechanical systems, including various components.
- Drive designs across the entire development lifecycle, from brainstorming to production.
- Collaborate with industrial design, marketing, and product teams.
- Solve cross-functional problems with electrical, software, reliability, and manufacturing engineering teams.
- Perform analysis and testing to ensure designs meet product goals.
- Support high-volume manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability.
- Conduct root cause analysis and apply quality measuring techniques.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of consumer product design experience.
- Knowledge of injection molding, sheet metal forming, and electromechanical systems.
- Proficiency with 3D modeling and simulation tools (e.g., Solidworks, NX, Creo).
- Experience with high-volume manufacturing processes and DFM/DFA.
- Solid understanding of tolerance analysis and GD&T.
- BSME or equivalent, MS preferred.
- Willingness to travel to China as needed for manufacturing support.
