Responsibilities
- Lead reliability engineering efforts across hardware programs to meet performance and durability requirements.
- Apply Design for Reliability (DfR) principles throughout the product lifecycle.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies to uncover failure modes and validate hardware.
- Translate FMEA and reliability risk analyses into targeted test plans.
- Plan and run Design of Experiments (DOE) to address reliability concerns.
- Design and optimize test fixtures for evaluating hardware under various stresses.
- Champion continuous improvement in reliability processes and tools.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of hands-on reliability engineering experience, preferably with electromechanical systems.
- Proven track record in testing and validating hardware components.
- Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles.
- Experience with environmental and mechanical stress testing.
- Proficiency in scripting or automation using tools like Python or MATLAB.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
