Responsibilities
- Architect and design complex electromechanical systems, including various components.
- Drive designs across the entire development lifecycle, from brainstorming to production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, reliability, and manufacturing engineers.
- Perform analysis and testing to ensure designs meet product goals.
- Shape product direction by collaborating with industrial design, marketing, and leadership.
- Support high-volume consumer product manufacturing processes.
- Travel to China as needed for manufacturing support.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of consumer product design experience.
- Knowledge of injection molding, sheet metal forming, and electromechanical systems.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., Solidworks, NX, Creo).
- Experience with design for manufacturability and assembly (DFM/DFA).
- Understanding of quality measuring techniques such as root cause analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
