Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive electrical designs and testing plans for power distribution products.
- Design electrical aspects of new products according to engineering specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with manufacturing processes.
- Support planning and testing for product certification.
- Recommend design modifications to improve product lines.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation of designs and concepts.
- Cross-train on other product lines and maintain documentation coordination.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least three years of experience in Electrical design, or a Master’s degree with two years of experience.
- Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design programs.
- Proficiency in preparing electrical drawings (schematics, powerflow, etc.).
- Familiarity with SAP and manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical design standards and principles.
- Ability to collaborate with teams and communicate technical information effectively.
- Commitment to quality processes and documentation standards.
