Responsibilities
- Plan, engineer, design, and create drawings for substation control equipment projects.
- Prepare and review estimates, permits, schedules, and construction orders.
- Conduct technical studies and calculations, assisting with report preparation.
- Consult with superiors and peers for design and cost information.
- Act as project manager for assigned projects with guidance from experienced engineers.
- Ensure adherence to engineering principles and applicable codes.
- Collaborate with others and manage multiple projects effectively.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Professional Engineer Licensure preferred.
- Experience with substation control engineering drawings and SCADA communications protocols.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
