Responsibilities
- Plan, engineer, design, and create drawings for substation control equipment projects.
- Prepare and review estimates, permits, schedules, and construction orders.
- Perform technical studies and calculations, assisting with complex engineering studies.
- Consult with superiors and peers for project information and design details.
- Act as project manager for assigned projects with guidance from senior engineers.
- Ensure compliance with engineering principles and company standards.
- Collaborate with others and communicate effectively.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Five (5+) years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Professional Engineer Licensure preferred.
- Experience with substation control engineering drawings and SCADA communications protocols.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work autonomously.
