Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Develop and implement division strategies aligned with Draper’s Strategic Plan.
- Manage personnel resources, budgets, and project timelines.
- Participate in recruitment efforts to attract top engineering talent.
- Develop innovative concepts and technologies to solve customer problems.
- Oversee the quality execution of projects led by division staff.
- Drive the development and execution of engineering strategies that align with organizational goals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a technical field; M.S. preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in Engineering and/or Program Management.
- At least 5 years of experience managing teams.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and certification standards (FAA, FDA, DO-178, etc.).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with organizational and project-based performance metrics.
