Responsibilities
- Gain knowledge of EV charger components and functions.
- Identify points in the system to fault.
- Design, develop, and document hardware design for the fault injection system using 3D CAD software.
- Fabricate and assemble prototype of the system.
- Bench test to verify system functionality before integration with the charger.
- Integrate the system with the EV charger.
- Perform fault tests and collect data on the outcomes.
Job Requirements
- Experience using hand and power tools, and prototyping electrical-mechanical assemblies.
- Strong spatial intuition for component layout within enclosures; proficiency in SolidWorks preferred.
- Ability to develop "what-if" test cases and identify critical system failure points.
- Skilled in maintaining precise test logs that correlate specific fault actions with system outputs.
- Customer-centric mindset and technology leadership mindset.
- Ability to work both individually and in a team.
- Ability to work with limited direction to attain project goals according to set timelines.
