Responsibilities
- Lead the design and qualification of LED driver technology incorporating power supplies and control circuits.
- Prepare engineering specifications and qualification plans for new product development.
- Perform detailed hardware design, including circuit topology and component selection.
- Ensure designs adhere to engineering practices for performance, reliability, and cost.
- Conduct design reviews and interface with other departments for efficient design-to-production transfer.
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers to drive LED lighting designs to production.
- Mentor and support junior engineers demonstrating a solid understanding of analog electronics.
Job Requirements
- 5 years of experience in product development for consumer or industrial electronics.
- Hands-on experience with power supply topologies, magnetic design, and regulatory certification.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to drive projects through teamwork and decision-making.
- Experience with microcontrollers and wireless protocols is a plus.
- Experience working with overseas manufacturing partners is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master's preferred.
