Responsibilities
- Lead the design and qualification of LED driver technology incorporating switch mode power supplies and analog control circuits.
- Prepare engineering specifications and qualification plans for new product development.
- Perform detail hardware design including circuit topology and component selection.
- Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, cost, and quality goals.
- Conduct design reviews and interface with other engineers to ensure efficient design-to-production transfer.
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers during the production process.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team.
Job Requirements
- 5 years of experience in product development for consumer or industrial electronics.
- Hands-on experience with power supply topologies, magnetic design, and EMC design.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to drive projects by facilitating teamwork and decision-making.
- Experience with microcontrollers and wireless SoCs is a plus.
- Experience working with overseas manufacturing partners is a plus.
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering required; Masters preferred.
