Structural Analyst - Aerospace & Defense

Responsibilities

  • Build and analyze FE models of vehicle structures for aerospace and automotive applications.
  • Apply advanced FE/CAE methodologies to address complex multi-physics problems.
  • Present technical analysis summaries and reports to relevant engineers.
  • Create and execute new technical solutions for aerospace structures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and release optimized structures.
  • Implement cost reduction methods and support prototype and production activities.
  • Ensure proposed design changes are efficiently produced and assembled.

Job Requirements

  • BS in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.2.
  • 0-2 years of experience in aerospace/automotive structural analysis or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with analysis software packages such as Nastran, Optistruct, ABAQUS, and/or LS-Dyna.
  • Strong foundation in solid mechanics and understanding of advanced materials.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and self-motivated.
  • Experience in non-linear, dynamic stiffness, and durability analyses preferred.
  • Knowledge of structural optimization and material characterization is a plus.
