Responsibilities
- Build and analyze FE models of vehicle structures for aerospace and automotive applications.
- Apply advanced FE/CAE methodologies to address complex multi-physics problems.
- Present technical analysis summaries and reports to relevant engineers.
- Create and execute new technical solutions for aerospace structures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and release optimized structures.
- Implement cost reduction methods and support prototype and production activities.
- Ensure proposed design changes are efficiently produced and assembled.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.2.
- 0-2 years of experience in aerospace/automotive structural analysis or equivalent.
- Familiarity with analysis software packages such as Nastran, Optistruct, ABAQUS, and/or LS-Dyna.
- Strong foundation in solid mechanics and understanding of advanced materials.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and self-motivated.
- Experience in non-linear, dynamic stiffness, and durability analyses preferred.
- Knowledge of structural optimization and material characterization is a plus.
