Responsibilities
- Create and manage CAD designs of components and BOM structure.
- Build and analyze FE models for Node™-based vehicle structures.
- Present design summaries and reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and execute technical solutions for automotive structures.
- Collaborate within the DAPS Product Engineering team and with other disciplines.
- Implement cost reduction methods and support prototype and production activities.
- Maintain technical documentation, including best practices and lessons learned.
Job Requirements
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in structure design and CAD modeling.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and analysis software (e.g., Nastran, Optistruct).
- Understanding of advanced materials for lightweight structures.
- Experience with aerospace load applications and related standards.
- Solid interpersonal skills and ability to manage workload effectively.
- Preferred experience with DFMEA, DVP, and vehicle systems/sub-systems.
