Responsibilities
- Create and manage CAD designs and BOM structure.
- Analyze FE Models of Node™-based vehicle structures.
- Present design summaries and reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop technical solutions for automotive structures.
- Collaborate within the DAPS Product Engineering team and other disciplines.
- Implement cost reduction methods and product improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation and support vehicle builds.
Job Requirements
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in structure design and CAD.
- Experience with structural analysis software (e.g., Nastran, Optistruct).
- Understanding of advanced materials for lightweight structures.
- Experience with aerospace load applications and MIL-STDs.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage workload.
- Familiarity with DFMEA, DVP, control plans, and vehicle systems.
