Responsibilities
- Build and analyze FE models of vehicle structures for aerospace and automotive applications.
- Apply advanced FE/CAE methodologies to address complex multi-physics problems.
- Present technical analysis summaries and reports at meetings.
- Create and execute new technical solutions for aerospace structures.
- Collaborate with the DAPS Product Engineering team and other disciplines.
- Implement cost reduction methods and product improvements.
- Support prototype and production build activities.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.2.
- 0-2 years of experience in aerospace/automotive structural analysis or equivalent.
- Experience with analysis software packages such as Nastran, Optistruct, ABAQUS, or LS-Dyna.
- Strong foundation in solid mechanics and understanding of advanced materials.
- Solid interpersonal skills and ability to manage workload effectively.
- Preferred: 1-2 years of industry experience in non-linear and durability analyses.
- Proficient with Altair Hypermesh or Beta CAE ANSA preprocessors is a plus.
