Mechanical Engineer - Co-Op

The role is for a Mechanical Engineer Co-Op at Dematic, aimed at students pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, focusing on assisting the Engineering team with various tasks.

• Assist in routine planning and execution of Engineering activities.
• Work with a project implementation team.
• Prepare Layout Drawings using Maestro and AutoCAD.
• Assist in creating Bill of Materials using Maestro.
• Provide Bid Packages to Procurement for vendor quotes.
• Travel to North American job-sites for equipment/system commissioning.
• Identify and solve problems as they occur.

• Must be a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university.
• Actively pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to work from Dematic office locations.
• Interested in collaborative team work.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of professional principles and skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with AutoCAD or modeling programs.
