Responsibilities
- Support new product development and upgrade existing products by developing circuitry for electric motors, sensors, and transformers.
- Translate product level requirements into implementable circuits in collaboration with Design and Project Engineering.
- Define potential electrical implementation solutions and discuss tradeoffs.
- Transition designs to manufacturing by providing complete design packages and supporting problem resolution.
- Act as a technical expert for failure investigations, root cause analyses, and design reviews.
- Design and conduct experiments, collect data, and interpret results.
- Conduct analyses and create reports using engineering expertise.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an electric or electro-mechanical design environment.
- Knowledge of electric motors, power circuits, and power electronics.
- Familiarity with data acquisition system design and control systems.
- Excellent analysis, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Attentive to detail while maintaining a proper perspective.
- Ability to drive for solutions in ambiguous situations.
