Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of mechanical components and systems.
- Work closely with senior engineers and scientists in research/experimentation.
- Support testing and validation activities.
- Collaborate in cross-functional teams across disciplines.
- Learn about fermentation, cell culture, and biotechnology.
- Gain hands-on experience in testing a cloud-based biotech platform.
- Contribute to systems that have a direct impact on biotech and research innovation.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering design principles and CAD software (Onshape is a plus).
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with machining, sheet metal, and 3D printing.
- Some project experience in making parts.
- Familiarity with other 3D CAD tools (Solidworks, PTC, NX) is preferred.
- Basic skills and interest in prototyping and fabrication.
