Responsibilities
- Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance test yields and production throughput.
- Identify test failure trends and perform root cause analysis with corrective actions.
- Analyze existing test equipment performance and establish solutions to reduce downtime.
- Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for staffing and equipment needs.
- Select and order capital test equipment based on cost/payback analysis.
- Support real-time problem resolution and maximize overall equipment effectiveness.
- Train floor test technicians on products and test systems.
Job Requirements
- Degree in STEM with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Understanding of statistics and parametric process control.
- Proficiency in Six Sigma control methods and Lean electronics.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in facilitating technical discussions across organizational levels.
