Responsibilities

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance test yields and production throughput.
  • Identify test failure trends and perform root cause analysis with corrective actions.
  • Analyze existing test equipment performance and establish solutions to reduce downtime.
  • Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for staffing and equipment needs.
  • Select and order capital test equipment based on cost/payback analysis.
  • Support real-time problem resolution and maximize overall equipment effectiveness.
  • Train floor test technicians on products and test systems.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in STEM with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in the electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Understanding of statistics and parametric process control.
  • Proficiency in Six Sigma control methods and Lean electronics.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in facilitating technical discussions across organizational levels.
