Responsibilities

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to improve test yields and production throughput.
  • Identify component test failure trends and perform root cause analysis.
  • Analyze test approach for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for staffing and equipment needs.
  • Develop technical support for the product test process and assist manufacturing flow.
  • Interface with design engineering for necessary design changes.
  • Maintain test documentation and oversee change management procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in STEM with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or 6 years without a degree.
  • Experience as a Manufacturing Engineer with a focus on product testing.
  • Proficiency in statistics and understanding of Lean electronics.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in facilitating communication across organizational levels.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma control methods.
