Responsibilities
- Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance test yields and production throughput.
- Identify component test failure trends and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze existing test equipment performance and establish solutions for reducing downtime.
- Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for staffing and test equipment needs.
- Select and order capital test equipment based on cost/payback analysis.
- Support the test process and provide technical assistance to floor test technicians.
- Maintain test documentation and oversee change management procedures.
Job Requirements
- Degree in STEM and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with less experience.
- 2+ years of experience as a manufacturing electrical engineer.
- Understanding of basic statistics and Six Sigma control methods.
- Problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with the capability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using analytical skills to resolve issues.
- Ability to facilitate conversations and communicate effectively at all levels.
