Responsibilities

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance test yields and production throughput.
  • Identify component test failure trends and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze existing test equipment performance and establish solutions for reducing downtime.
  • Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for staffing and test equipment needs.
  • Select and order capital test equipment based on cost/payback analysis.
  • Support the test process and provide technical assistance to floor test technicians.
  • Maintain test documentation and oversee change management procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in STEM and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with less experience.
  • 2+ years of experience as a manufacturing electrical engineer.
  • Understanding of basic statistics and Six Sigma control methods.
  • Problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the capability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience using analytical skills to resolve issues.
  • Ability to facilitate conversations and communicate effectively at all levels.
