Responsibilities
- Participate in cross-functional teams to improve test yields and product quality.
- Analyze test failure trends and implement corrective actions.
- Study and improve the reliability of existing test equipment.
- Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for staffing and equipment needs.
- Select and order capital test equipment based on cost analysis.
- Support technical assistance for the product test process and assist floor test technicians.
- Maintain test documentation and oversee change management procedures.
Job Requirements
- University Degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or 6 years in absence of a degree.
- 2+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer with a focus on product testing.
- Understanding of statistics and experience with Six Sigma methods.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to identify alternative solutions.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with the capability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to facilitate effective communication across various organizational levels.
