Responsibilities
- Lead complex mechanical design programs from concept to production.
- Collaborate with Electrical, RF, Compliance, Validation, and software development engineers.
- Utilize 3D CAD tools for mechanical hardware design.
- Conduct thermal simulation using CFD tools.
- Engage with tooling vendors for DFM and FAI reviews.
- Create test plans for environmental validation testing.
- Oversee environmental validation testing processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Aluminum Die-cast and sheet metal design.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, or NX.
- Experience with thermal lab testing and CFD modeling tools.
- Experience in leading complex product design programs.
- Preferred Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree with 4+ years of experience.
- Familiarity with ingress protection design (IP54 and IP67) and ISO standards for Shock & Vibration, Temperature, etc.
