Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical product engineering support for new and sustaining products.
- Collaborate with Design Engineering and other teams to solve problems and ensure quality.
- Lead small-scale mechanical engineering projects and manage project responsibilities.
- Conduct failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and perform stack-up tolerance analyses.
- Assist senior engineers with test plans, reliability testing, and failure analysis.
- Engage with Component Engineering and Hardware Engineering for design improvements.
- Monitor project scope, schedule, and budgets, ensuring feasibility and prototyping guidelines are met.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical manufacturing.
- BS degree in mechanical engineering.
- Experience with Pro-E/Creo software.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in a relevant field and experience in liquid cooling processes.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes for various materials.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and manage project timelines.
- Knowledge of design quality standards and cost reduction strategies.
