Responsibilities
- Design enclosures and perform system-level thermal design.
- Conduct mechanical validation including shock, vibration, and ingress protection testing.
- Utilize mechanical CAD tools for system-level mechanical design.
- Apply thermal simulation tools for system-level thermal design.
- Collaborate with the IOT mechanical team on product development.
- Ensure designs meet the requirements for ruggedized equipment.
- Participate in lab testing and validation processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in mechanical design.
- Proficiency with CAD tools such as Creo, NX, or Solidworks.
- Experience with thermal simulation tools like Flotherm.
- Familiarity with lab testing processes.
- Preferred experience in die casting design and ingress protection design.
- Knowledge of 3D printing engineering is a plus.
