Responsibilities
- Configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and program Distributed Control Systems and Safety Shutdown Systems.
- Provide hardware support for various PLC applications.
- Collaborate with Operations to support the control room effectively.
- Maintain current procedures and system documentation.
- Ensure systems meet safety, reliability, and compliance requirements.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours system issues.
- Lead small teams or provide work direction as necessary.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology, or 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with DCS and control systems in process facilities preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Strong sense of ownership and proactive in identifying improvements.
- Flexibility to adjust work hours and travel as needed.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to support outages at remote sites.
