Responsibilities
- Operate the software controlling the robotic factory and delivery vehicles on solar construction sites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electromechanical issues during factory operations in the field.
- Document issues and solutions encountered while operating the factory.
- Assign tasks to field team members for efficient material loading into the factory.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to enhance factory user experience and efficiency.
- Follow safety procedures and promote a culture of safety in the field.
- Be available for full-time field travel, with a per diem stipend for housing and food.
Job Requirements
- Engineering or technical degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, mechatronics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with programming, networking, and command line workflows.
- Experience with mechanical troubleshooting of industrial automation hardware.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs if necessary.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in challenging field conditions.
- Interest in contributing to climate change solutions.
