Responsibilities
- Design and build space structures and thermal systems for satellite communication.
- Collaborate with engineers on product development, design, testing, and manufacturing.
- Work on conduction-cooled packaging and deployable structures.
- Engage in the design of lightweight composite space structures.
- Present work to peers, mentors, and executive leadership.
- Participate in hands-on, interactive work within a dynamic team environment.
- Develop communication skills through presentations and teamwork.
Job Requirements
- Enrollment in a BS, MS, or Ph.D. program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Coursework in structures and heat transfer.
- Experience with mechanical FEA tools like SolidWorks Simulation or ANSYS.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with electronics assemblies (preferred).
- Experience with CNC manufacturing (preferred).
