Responsibilities
- Design and build space structures and thermal systems.
- Collaborate with engineers on product development.
- Conduct testing and manufacturing of mechanical systems.
- Focus on conduction-cooled packaging and deployable structures.
- Present work to peers and executive leadership.
- Engage in hands-on, interactive projects.
- Participate in a dynamic and cross-functional work environment.
Job Requirements
- Enrollment in a BS, MS, or Ph.D. program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Coursework in structures and heat transfer.
- Experience with mechanical FEA tools (e.g., SolidWorks, ANSYS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with electronics assemblies (preferred).
- Experience with CNC manufacturing (preferred).
