Responsibilities
- Responsible for mechanical design aspects of phased array antennas and subsystems.
- Conduct requirements definition, architecture trades, and block diagrams.
- Perform mechanical analysis, electronics packaging, and thermal architecture.
- Engage in manufacturing, testing, qualification, and in-orbit support.
- Present engineering design review materials to customers and executives.
- Participate in proposal-writing efforts.
- Collaborate in a dynamic, cross-functional work environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in space antenna and payload mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in mechanical and FEA CAD tools (e.g., Ansys, SolidWorks).
- Experience with CNC manufacturing and GD&T.
- Familiarity with satellite thermal architectures and deployment mechanisms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred experience with programming languages like Python or C++.
