Responsibilities
- Manage the specialty engineering group encompassing various technical disciplines.
- Oversee technical contributions and maintain departmental processes.
- Interface with multiple areas of the company such as program management and engineering.
- Grow and scale the Specialty Engineering team through hiring and developing processes.
- Derive requirements from higher-level specifications and perform trade studies.
- Conduct performance reviews and career development for team members.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field plus 9 years of experience.
- Proficiency in materials and processes or related core disciplines.
- Prior experience in managing and growing technical teams.
- Experience in the space industry and with deriving requirements.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
