Responsibilities
- Support mechanical designs throughout all phases of the development process.
- Involved in electronics packaging design, mechanical simulations, and analyses.
- Conduct computer-aided design (CAD) and manage spacecraft mechanical interfaces.
- Perform environmental qualification of electronic assemblies.
- Present engineering design review materials.
- Utilize thermal management design and precision machining principles.
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and cost analysis for mechanical designs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of industry experience in design and analysis.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
- Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of GD&T, drafting standards, and engineering documentation.
- Experience with engineering analysis tools like ANSYS or MATLAB.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
