Responsibilities
- Act as the Responsible Engineer for flight engine electronics and instrumentation.
- Design, build, and test circuit boards and write software for engine controllers and throttles.
- Procure, calibrate, install, and troubleshoot engine instrumentation.
- Manage wiring harnesses and mount avionics on the engine.
- Create electronic schematics and models/drawings of parts and assemblies.
- Develop and execute test programs, analyze data, and optimize designs.
- Collaborate with mechanical, aerospace, and controls engineering teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in electronics design, development, fabrication, or testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with coding (MATLAB, C++, JavaScript, C, Arduino).
- Hands-on engineering experience and familiarity with CAD (NX preferred).
- Knowledge of aerospace safety and reliability practices.
