The Test Development Engineer (Power) is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automatic test equipment and test programs for product testing and design verification, ensuring high-quality assembled products in manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Lead testing and validation of power electronics during EVT/DVT phases.
- Master the use of oscilloscopes and precision equipment for high-power measurements.
- Design and develop integrated test solutions, including hardware and software.
- Build and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Linux.
- Establish a culture of data organization for historical test results.
- Manage measurement integrity by identifying design flaws and other issues.
- Provide technical leadership and program management for smaller projects.
Job Requirements
- Experience in power validation for semiconductor or high-tech systems.
- Familiarity with structural and functional testing for high-density power modules.
- Strong data organization skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with Python for test automation and Linux environment.
- Proficiency with oscilloscopes, LabView, and basic soldering skills.
- Ability to conduct research and experiments with minimal direction.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (10-25%).
