Responsibilities

  • Lead testing and validation of power electronics through EVT/DVT phases, owning the full test plan generation and validation strategy.
  • Master the use of oscilloscopes and precision equipment to measure signals and noise in high-power environments.
  • Design and develop integrated test solutions, including high-level architecture and system integration.
  • Build and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Linux for configuring test equipment.
  • Establish a culture of data organization for historical test results to enable rapid debugging.
  • Manage measurement integrity by identifying issues from design flaws or interference.
  • Provide technical leadership and program management for smaller projects, coordinating with other engineers.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in power validation for semiconductor or high-tech systems.
  • Familiarity with structural and functional testing for high-density power modules.
  • Strong data organization skills and ability to debug efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Python for test automation and comfort with Linux.
  • Proficiency with oscilloscopes, LabView, and basic soldering skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and conduct research/experiments.
  • Strong communication skills for alignment in internal meetings and technical proposals.
