Responsibilities
- Interface with customers to define needs and present technical proposals.
- Ensure proposals meet design and manufacturing profitability requirements.
- Serve as the lead mechanical engineer on critical projects.
- Provide design and development feedback on projects and schedules.
- Participate in cross-functional teams for design and documentation.
- Apply engineering knowledge to develop leading-edge technologies.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers in product development activities.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in 3D solid modeling/MCAD, preferably Creo.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering design, development, and production in a dynamic environment.
- Strong knowledge of electromechanical design for complex telecommunications or datacenter products.
- Extensive experience managing design tradeoffs in mechanical design and thermal management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem resolution skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
