Responsibilities
- Interface with potential customers to define needs and present technical proposals.
- Ensure proposals meet design and manufacturing profitability requirements.
- Serve as the lead mechanical engineer on critical projects.
- Provide design and development feedback on projects and schedules.
- Participate in cross-functional teams for design and documentation.
- Develop new leading-edge technologies using engineering knowledge.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers during product development activities.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in 3D solid modeling/MCAD, preferably Creo.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering design, development, and production.
- Strong understanding of electromechanical design requirements for complex products.
- Experience in managing design tradeoffs in mechanical design and thermal management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills with internal and external customers.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
