Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team.
- Ensure the successful architecture, design, and testing of mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, and other teams for product integration.
- Develop and maintain necessary infrastructure for the ME team.
- Travel to customer farms and manufacturing facilities for product reliability.
- Coordinate with Engineering leadership to innovate and deliver on product roadmaps.
- Mentor engineers at various career stages.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience managing a mechanical engineering team.
- Significant experience with structural and powertrain system design.
- Familiarity with actuated systems and thermal management.
- Experience with workflow management tools like Jira.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.
