Responsibilities
- Provide technical and business leadership for the mechanical engineering team.
- Develop and maintain necessary infrastructure for the team’s success.
- Ensure the successful design, testing, and sustainment of mechanical systems.
- Coordinate with Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, and other teams for seamless integration.
- Collaborate with the Engineering leadership team on innovation roadmaps.
- Travel to customer farms and manufacturing facilities to ensure product reliability.
- Mentor and develop team members in both technical and soft skills.
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience managing a mechanical engineering team.
- Significant experience with structural and powertrain system design and production.
- Knowledge of actuated systems, thermal management, and enclosure design.
- Experience with workflow management tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Ability to develop and mentor engineers at various career stages.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- BS in Mechanical Engineering.
