Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for the mechanical engineering team.
- Develop and maintain the necessary infrastructure for team success.
- Ensure successful architecture, design, testing, and sustainability of mechanical systems.
- Coordinate with Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, and Field Support teams.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to develop capability and product innovation roadmaps.
- Travel to customer farms and manufacturing facilities to ensure product reliability and safety.
- Mentor and develop team members in both technical and soft skills.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a mechanical engineering team.
- Significant experience in structural and powertrain system design and production.
- Experience with actuated systems, thermal management, and enclosure design.
- Ability to lead engineering efforts in respective areas of expertise.
- Familiarity with workflow management tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
