Responsibilities
- Participate in all aspects of mechanical design and development of new products.
- Design new products and mechanical features for existing products.
- Produce and release 3D models, drawings, and BOMs.
- Collaborate with electrical and software engineering to ensure design functionality.
- Communicate cost impacts of new designs.
- Build prototypes.
- Support operations, supply chain, field service, and quality organizations as needed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an automation product development environment.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (ProE & Solidworks) and FEA/CFD.
- Knowledge of robotic mechanisms and automation controls.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Hands-on skills for assembly and troubleshooting of mechanical components.
- Ability to estimate tasks and follow schedules.
