Responsibilities
- Develop flight control algorithms for UAVs.
- Build guidance and control pipelines for waypoint tracking and autonomous behaviors.
- Perform system identification and dynamic modeling to improve controller accuracy.
- Design robust control strategies for handling disturbances and faults.
- Implement real-time control loops on embedded hardware.
- Tune controllers and manage gain scheduling.
- Validate performance through simulation and real-world flight testing.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of experience.
- Experience with UAV or robotics control systems.
- Understanding of multirotor dynamics and flight control architectures.
- Experience deploying control loops on embedded hardware.
- Hands-on experience with UAV testing and field validation.
- Preferred experience with fault-tolerant control and system identification.
- Knowledge of guidance methods and UAV safety considerations.
