Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to define system requirements and specifications.
- Integrate hardware and software components into cohesive and functional systems.
- Create PFMEA, process flow, and value stream maps and resolve design failure modes.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality and reliability.
- Ensure design metrics are met through each phase gate.
- Define solution requirements and drive the overall automation solution through the project lifecycle.
- Create electrical requirements, designs, drawings, and block diagrams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent training.
- At least 3+ years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in automation.
- Proficient in designing machine electrical systems using SolidWorks Electrical or AutoCAD.
- Skilled in designing AC/DC systems, selecting components, and integrating systems.
- Familiar with industrial automation equipment such as PLCs and robots.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Knowledge of UL508A & CE standards.
